The Arduino Diecimila is the next generation of the most popular open-source physical computing platform ever made! The Arduino NG Diecimila based on a simple i/o board and a development environment that implements the Processing / Wiring language.

Stand-alone interactive projects can be developed with the Arduino Diecimila. The Arduino can take various inputs and sensors, and can control a variety of lights, motors/actuators or even other Arduinos. Projects can be stand-alone or connected to software on your computer such as Flash, Processing or MaxMSP.

The open-source IDE (Integrated Development Environment) can be downloaded for free (currently for Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux). This simple to use software has drivers and installers provided with an environment
