This Arduino accessory kit provides a simple DC link from a 9V battery to the Arduino NG. It comprises a 9V Battery snap and a 2.1mm Power Plug.
It can be used to power your Arduino away from the computer. It runs with the selector pin set to ‘Ext’ for external power, instead of using the USB power supplied by your computer. Some simple assembly is required.
